I Paid ₦3,000 To Join Sphere. Here’s What Happened In My First 7 Days

Anthony Felicia ·4 Sept 20263 min read

7 days ago, I sent ₦3,000 and my heart was beating fast.

"Is this another scam?" "Will I ever see this money again?" "Can I really earn from just writing?"

I’ve seen too many "earn online" platforms come and go. But something about Sphere felt different. They weren’t promising me overnight millions. They were saying: "Learn, create, and earn — all in one membership."

So I paid. And I decided to test it properly.

Here’s what happened when I committed to posting once a week.

### Day 1-3: Fear and Blank Pages I logged in and saw writers like Chidinma Eze and Tunde Bakare with articles that had hundreds of reads. My own dashboard was empty. 0 Views. 0 Likes. 0 Published. I almost quit. But then I read their article: `Earning In Naira As A Creator`. One line hit me: "Track every project you deliver. Within three months you will have the only evidence you need to raise your prices — your own numbers." That’s when I understood. Sphere isn’t giving me fish. It’s teaching me how to fish.

### Day 4: I published my first article 600 words. Messy. Scared. But I hit `Submit for review`. 24 hours later: Approved. That notification gave me more joy than any course certificate.

### Day 5-6: Consistency started compounding I wrote again. And again. I learned how to write a better title. How to tell a story. How to make someone comment. The dashboard that said "0" started moving. Slowly. But it moved. And the wildest part? Someone DM’d me: "Your post motivated me to start too."

### Day 7: I saw the bigger picture This isn’t just about Sphere paying me. This is about me building proof. In 3 months I’ll have 12 articles. That’s 12 reasons for a client to hire me. That’s 12 reasons for brands to notice me. That’s 12 steps closer to earning in Naira as a creator for real.

### Here’s what I learned about "worth reading" content: People don’t care about perfect grammar. They care about: "Is this person like me? Did they start from zero too? Can I do it too?" The moment you get honest, people start listening.

### So if you’re reading this and thinking about joining: Don’t join because someone promised you ₦100k next month. Join because you’re tired of consuming and you want to start creating. Join because ₦3,000 is cheaper than another year of "I’ll start next month." Join because consistency beats talent when talent is not consistent.

I’m not an expert. I’m just 7 days ahead of you.

The question is: Will you be 7 days ahead of someone else 1 week from now?

Let’s build together. Drop "I'M IN" in the comments if you’re starting this week too. Let’s hold each other accountable.

P.S. If you want the exact steps I used to write and submit my first article, comment "GUIDE" and I’ll send it to you. ### Why I'm telling you this

Look, I'm not here to hype you.

I'm telling you this because 7 days ago I was exactly where you are now. Scrolling. Doubting. Thinking "maybe this is not for me."

But the only difference between me and the people who quit is that I posted anyway.

Sphere gave me 3 things I wasn't expecting: 1. **Skills**: I learned how to write titles that people actually click. 2. **Confidence**: My voice matters. Even if I only have 10 readers. 3. **Community**: I found other Nigerians also building online, not just talking.

The ₦3,000 wasn't a payment. It was a decision. A decision to stop consuming and start creating.

If you wait for the "perfect time", you'll wait forever. If you wait until you "feel ready", you'll never start.

Start messy. Start scared. But start.

I'll be in the comments. Let's do this together.
